Innovative Contributions

Innovation has been a defining characteristic of Dr. Abraham’s leadership.

He introduced digital inspection and reporting systems that enable inspectors to complete inspections electronically, providing clients with real-time access to reports, certificates, and inspection records. This has significantly improved traceability, reduced turnaround times, and enhanced operational efficiency.

He also pioneered an integrated technical services model that combines lifting inspection, NDT, rope access, crane maintenance, fire and rescue, technical training, and quality consultancy under one organisation. This approach has reduced contractor interfaces, improved project coordination, enhanced safety, and delivered greater value to clients executing complex industrial projects.

Achievements & Successes

Within four years, Dr. Abraham has led TIS to achieve annual revenues exceeding USD 2 million, while expanding the workforce to more than 50 employees. The company has become a trusted technical partner for some of the world’s largest energy companies, delivering critical services on both offshore and onshore projects.

Among the company’s most significant achievements was the successful delivery of a 24/7 Emergency Fire and Rescue Service for the Azule Energy/Saipem New Gas Consortium (NGC) Project in Soyo, integrating NFPA-qualified firefighters, IRATA rope access rescue specialists, emergency response vehicles, and technical rescue capabilities into a single operational team. TIS was also recognised internationally as a finalist at the LEEA Awards, reflecting its commitment to excellence, innovation, and raising lifting standards.

Commitment to Safety & Standards

Safety is the cornerstone of Dr. Abraham’s leadership philosophy. TIS has maintained an excellent safety record, including over 20,000 man-hours without a Lost Time Injury (LTI) during major projects. The organisation operates in accordance with internationally recognised standards, including LEEA, LOLER, ASME, BS EN, ISO 9001:2015, IOGP Life Saving Rules, and NFPA requirements.

Daily toolbox talks, weekly safety meetings, behavioural safety programmes, leadership site visits, emergency response drills, competency assessments, and digital reporting systems ensure safety remains embedded throughout every operation.
