During CONEXPO-CON/AGG, March 3-7 in Las Vegas, Nevada, Genie is celebrating its 60th anniversary while highlighting equipment and accessories designed meet the needs of rental companies and jobsites today, and into future.

New accessories that increase productivity and extend the value of existing fleets, as well as the latest Genie boom and scissor lift models, will be on display. Additionally, Genie will exhibit a concept device that highlights how technology is evolving the way people perform work at height.

You’ll find Genie inside the Terex booth in the Silver Lot, Booth SV2357.

New Accessories for Congested Jobsites and Hard-to-Reach Areas

Two new accessories designed with data center and warehouse jobsite needs in mind—Lift Guard® Zone Lighting and the Lift Tools Integrated Access Deck—will be featured on a GS™-1932m micro scissor lift.

The new Genie Lift Tools Integrated Access Deck, available for Genie GS™ micro scissor lifts, increases reach and enhances productivity where operators need to reach into tight overhead spaces, such as data centers for tasks like HVAC, electric, plumbing or general maintenance.

In response to customer demand, the Integrated Access Deck offers an additional 10.5 in / 50 cm of height and provides a 360° protective halo for further operator protection. When not in use, the Integrated Access Deck can be easily lowered and stowed away to provide more workspace in the platform.

Like the Integrated Access Deck, Lift Guard Zone Lighting, which launched last September, was influenced by customer feedback from large-scale projects including warehouses and data centers, where multiple trades and machines often operate simultaneously.

“Employers are increasingly focused on collision and entrapment avoidance, as well as dropped object protection,” said Bryan Williams, Genie Product Manager. “Providing visual information to people working on or around scissor lifts increases awareness of their surroundings and can help prevent incidents.”

Zone Lighting projects highly visible red laser lines around the base of the scissor lift, creating a clear visual boundary at ground level. On busy jobsites where audible alarms can blend into background noise, these visual cues help alert nearby workers when they are entering the machine’s work zone.

Both the Integrated Access Deck and Zone Lighting options will be displayed on a GS-1932m micro scissor lift. The GS-1932m micro scissor’s narrow width, zero-degree inside turning radius and electric AC drive system make it well suited for tight indoor environments.

Lift Guard Lanyard Alert Advanced Encourages Use of Fall Protection

Genie also will showcase its Lift Guard Lanyard Alert Advanced on an S®-85 XC FE boom lift. Lanyard Alert Advanced provides a visual and audible alarm and prevents operation of the lift if the operator’s fall protection lanyard is not attached to the anchor point inside the platform.

The device works similar to automotive seatbelt warnings, which people are familiar with in their cars. If the lanyard is not clipped in, a red warning light will flash. If the footswitch is enabled and the lanyard is still not attached, a targeted noise will start beeping. Lanyard Alert Advanced will prohibit boom lift movement until the lanyard is attached.

“Keeping the system simple, cost-effective, and easy-to-install was critical for reducing barriers to the adoption of this important reminder to utilize your fall protection harness,” said Dominik Damm, Genie Global Product Director – Boom Lifts.

The device will be displayed on Genie’s newest boom lift, an S-85 XC FE hybrid lift. Introduced at ARA in 2025, the S-85 XC FE delivers rough-terrain capability combined with electrification to deliver high utilization. With a design focused on productivity and quality improvements, the S-85 XC FE also reduces maintenance needs and lowers the total cost of ownership.

Continuous Improvement Driven by the Voice of the Customer

While Genie anticipates and incorporates evolving standards into its product development and improvement process, customer input also plays a critical role in shaping equipment options and accessories.

By pairing proven machines with customer-inspired accessories, Genie continues to help equipment owners, operators and jobsite managers increase productively safely. At the same time, a customer-centric approach means Genie is also focused on adding value for equipment owners by lowering ownership costs, reducing pain points, and identifying opportunities to leverage technology to improve the way work is done at height.

In addition to production-ready accessories, Genie will preview a concept accessory at the show to gather customer feedback. The concept explores how emerging technologies can benefit workers and rental partners by making tasks easier and more efficient.

Genie Celebrates 60 Years of Industry Leadership

Later this year, Genie will celebrate its 60th anniversary, honoring a legacy built on a focus on the customer, quality and continuous innovation.
